Senior Paid Media Executive

You will add to River Island's continued growth being part of the Performance Marketing Team. This will include both hands-on daily optimisation of campaigns as well as providing more strategic direction including analysing data, running tests, collaborating on projects and identifying ways to improve performance. 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Responsible for leading & managing the day to day running of our IE PPC Search & Shopping accounts
  • Maintain and improve IE PPC Accounts to deliver efficient and cost-effective campaigns
  • Understanding the different Local ad formats within Google Ads and how this affects Store Visits (Local Campaigns, Local Search Ads & Local Inventory Ads)
  • Responsible for Paid Social campaign activation, optimisation & reporting across social media platforms
  • Working alongside the PPC teams to deliver exceptional channel performance against strategic business and commercial objectives across multiple markets
  • Delivering performance reporting and insight to internal stakeholders
  • Identifying new opportunities for efficient growth via PPC in the markets you look after
  • Manage the bid management platform to meet targets and KPI’s whilst ensuring we are up to date with any enhancements and beta tests
  • Analyse data, identifying trends and opportunities within the market and accounts
  • Support product launches and promotions
  • Staying up to date with the latest industry trends and share knowledge with the team

Skills and experience you will need: 

  • Necessary experience required;
    • Google Ads – Local, Search, Shopping, DSA
    • Search Ads 360
    • Google Analytics
    • Paid Social Media platforms
    • YouTube Advertising
  • Hands on experience managing or working on large / complex PPC accounts
  • Experience managing or assisting in management of large budgets and delivering against multiple KPIs
  • Experience with Audience targeting
  • Advanced use of Excel to create reports and work with large data sets
